Attention Advocates, The U.S. Supreme Court has set a date between February 22 & March 2 to hear arguments in Taylor v. United States (4th Cir. 754, F.3d 217, 2014 BL158470). The question at hand deals with the "interstate commerce" element when prosecuting the robbery or attempted robbery of a drug dealer under the Hobbs Act statute. Hopefully the Justices will take this opportunity to address some of the issues and differences between actual & fictitious stash-house robberies.
