Attention Advocates, We have received word that people with reverse-sting cases that have a 924(c) charge connected to a Hobbs Act charge are getting back into the courts with motions based off of the Supreme Courts decision in Johnson v. United States. The Public Defenders Office in different circuits have been reaching out to individuals with these type of cases saying that they can possibly get the 924(c) charge dismissed, and we know personally of at least one individual in the 4th Circuit that the Court of Appeals granted him permission to file a Second Successive 2255 motion to the District Court based off of Johnson. The deadline to file a Johnson motion is June 24th so get with your legal team or local Public Defenders Office ASAP!!!
