Being born in the UK, I have always cherished our rich historical heritage. It is disheartening to see our churches, which are integral parts of our history and culture, being replaced by mosques. This not only erases significant landmarks but also undermines the religious and cultural fabric that has been built over centuries.

The UK is home to over 16,000 churches (National Churches Trust), many of which are listed buildings due to their historical importance. The replacement of these churches with mosques threatens to erase this heritage. While it is important to respect all religions and provide spaces for worship, it should not come at the cost of losing our own historical sites.
