What initially drew me  into Real App was the ability to use karma instead of real money to wager on games, and it made it more engaging to watch games. It wasn't real money, however, they within the past year or 2 they've added predictions using their paid currency, Rax, which can cause underage users who can't access gambling apps to instead be addicted to this, and spend money.

Real App continues to implement gambling features, and even as of September 2026 is partnering with FanDuel, one of the online sports betting apps. The community consists of mostly users that are under 18, and promoting this at a young age can cause long lasting addiction and lead to severe mental health issues.

What should be changed:

• No partnership with with Fanduel or any sportsbook
• Either remove Rax predictions or implement an Age Verification system

As an active member of the community since 2022, I love the concept of this and I love the community (mostly) and I believe Real can be the biggest app for sports fans around the world, but I am worried the focus is shifting from building a community into putting as much money as they can into their pockets.

If John or Louis or any member of the Real team are reading this, please don't be apart of the growing problem of gambling addiction in the United States

Please share this however you can.
