Stop Purina from making the Beneful food line

Purina is a dog food brand. Every one knows this, and many believe it is the best brand in the world to feed your dog. However, they are not aware of what goes into their food. Here is an example. Purina has the Beneful dog food line, and the Beneful dog food line has made many dogs severely sick, or die. The Beneful dog food brand has been known to give dogs liver disease, high levels of blood sugar, nausea, vomiting and vomiting blood. They have diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, high temperatures, inability to walk, drinking a lot of water, pooping more, drastic weight loss... People have to watch their dogs slowly suffer and when they take them to the vet, the bills exceeded $15,000. Even worse, some dog lovers come home, and find their best friend dead.
Purina needs to accept responsibility for the deaths and sickness that Beneful has caused to dogs. This is an excellent candidate for a class action product liability lawsuit! Even if the lawsuit is not successful or never comes to fruition, it will certainly scare the hell out of Purina and will get them to improve the quality of their Beneful dog food line.
I have gone on their website, and they say that corn and grain is beneficial! They say that it is healthy, and that it is one in one hundred dogs that may have an allergy to corn. As we all know, this is a falsehood. Corn is one of the most common allergies experienced by dogs as well as wheat.
Purina states that an ounce of corn has twice the antioxidants as apples, and "We don't meet standards, we surpass them!” Further, they also say that their content is "digestible" and that "We do our homework".
Perhaps they have some more homework to do. Because I found out in just fifteen minutes that hundreds of people have written in stating that their dogs are vomiting, and pooping blood, and have numerous reactions to Beneful dog food.
Here are the ingredients of Beneful Radiance:
Ground Yellow Corn, Chicken By-Product Meal, Corn Gluten Meal, Whole Wheat Flour, Animal Fat Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols (Form of Vitamin E), Salmon, Rice Flour, Soy Flour, Sugar, Propylene Glycol, Meat and Bone Meal, Water, Tricalcium Phosphate, Soybean Oil, Animal Digest, Salt, Phosphoric Acid, Sorbic Acid (A Preservative), Potassium Chloride, Dried Carrots, Dried Green Beans, L-Lysine Monohydrochloride, Calcium Propionate (A Preservative), Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Sulfate, Added Color (Red 40, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 2), Ferrous Sulfate, Dl-Methionine, Manganese Sulfate, Niacin, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Carbonate, Copper Sulfate, Vitamin B-12 Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Garlic Oil, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin D-3 Supplement, Calcium Iodate, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (Source of Vitamin K Activity), Folic Acid, Biotin, Sodium Selenite.
Gross huh? I'm going to give you information about the ingredients in case you are confused, if you are already an expert, than you can skip this. The first ingredient is ground yellow corn, corn is the absolute CHEAPEST filler there is, and as you have read previously causes allergies to many dogs. Secondly, chicken-by-product-meal. The by-product is the liver, guts, brains, unfertilized eggs, feet... Any thing that is not suitable for us humans to eat. The third ingredient is corn gluten meal, eeeew gluten. Gluten can get into a dogs blood (as well as are blood) and sticks there like glue. And that is not good at all. Fourthly is whole wheat flour, wheat is another filler, and grain. Animal fat is yet another by-product; this will not give a dog any nutritional value. And since it is not stated from which animal the fat comes from, it could be from any where. Grease from restaurants road kill, dead dogs and cats from shelters. The ingredients ahead are bellow average, and are not too harmful. That is until we read up to the ninth ingredient and that is sugar. Sugar will raise the blood level of your dog, which is VERY dangerous. Propylene glycol is a moisturizer, and is banned by the FDA from putting it into cat food. Meat and bone meal is the dry tissue from any animals, and it contains blood, bones, hoof, manure, rumen contents and hair. Animal digest is a spray sprayed onto the food to make it taste better, this of course is not specified, and so it can be from road kill, heaven knows what. Artificial coloring is not good for a dog, or humans. Purina only has a few minerals, but it is not enough minerals to meet the nutritional needs of you dog.
Purina has also been known (recently) for selling and STILL selling their contaminated treats. Purina has had many recalls, complaints from customers. And these customers have probably spent A LOT of money on vet visits to help their sick dogs, and yet Purina continues to make this poison.
I really want the Purina Company to be stopped. I have read so many stories about this horrendous food brand.... Please sign this petition; it is going to prevent a lot of serious allergic reactions in dogs eating Beneful as well as save thousands on unnecessary vet bills. Further, it will save the lives of the dogs that will die this year from eating Beneful.
Please put this petition on your website, your Facebook page, or any where people will see it. The word needs to get out around the world. We the people can put a stop to this. I know we can.
