Hello my name is MaryGrace. The issue I will be discussing is puppy mills. So my story with puppy mills is, I had just gotten a little Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy from Petland that I named Everest. A couple of days after we got her she started to develop a cough, simple things like running around and playing with a toy became too much for her so we took her to the vet and she got better. At the time I didn't think much of it, but after listening to a podcast about puppy mills with my dad made me question where she came from. So I googled the breeder on her papers from Petland, it turns out that her breeders were in the Humane Society of the United States 2015 Horrible Hundreds. And I was disgusted by that. So I did some more digging into puppy mills and I was shocked at the fact that most of the puppies at Petland come from puppy mills. So that made me think about how many other people are out there with stories just like mine being unaware and wrongfully deceived, so I decided to make a business to stop puppy mills and to educate people about puppy mills and Petland.
