Anne Arundel County Region Plan
Councilman Nathan Volke reached out to us this morning and affirmed he is not introducing rezoning for the "...Michael’s..." property. He also explained that our Region (7) is in the process of creating a Region Plan, this is part of AAC's Plan2040. Plan2040 has the aim of taking community comments and developing a blueprint for future public works, and zoning concerns. Sadly we missed the window for community comment. At this time, the Region 7 Group is preparing a draft plan based on community comments from 2021 - 2022. The next Region 7 Stakeholder Advisory Committee meeting is on March 7 at 6 pm. The location is TBD. I have reached out to Councilwoman Leadbetter, and the Long Range Planners in hopes of making a late public comment. Our 1000+ AAC citizen voices will speak loudly, hopefully, they listen.

Meeting
Please remember to attend the community meeting on February 20, at 7 pm at Mike’s Crab house. We will be there and hope to learn more about their plans. If your neighbors aren't aware please let them know. If you would like to show support for our shared concerns please wear RED. I suspect there will be many at the meeting. Too many to express each of our individual concerns civilly. Show your concern with RED.
