Thank you all for adding your voices.

Yesterday, I delivered our petition to Senators Gile and Elfreth, and Delegates Schmidt and Howard. A hard copy was also provided to SWARC staffers.

I met with and pleaded our case with both Howard and Schmidt. They are receptive, and hear our concerns.

Though I was unable to meet with senator Elfreth, I did speak with her Chief of Staff. She, too, was receptive to our concerns. 

Unfortunately, I was unable to meet with either Senator Gile or her chief of staff. Nor was I able to meet with SWARC committee members. However, on follow up email, they received our petition. SWARC staffers reported they would provide the hard copy to the SWARC committee. 

We will continue to work to forward this cause. Keep on sharing this petition.
