As a fan of C.S. Lewis’s "The Chronicles of Narnia movie,  I am concerned by the upcoming Netflix adaptation set to release next year. These movies weave together elements of fiction and profoundly Christian symbolism, from the books that even a child can understand. That even Christians and non Christians can understand. 

 The decision to transform this classic story into a rock and roll opera inspired by the works of David Bowie. David Bowe a gay man that birthed the fashion of gay men.  This is unacceptable and selfish

The casting of Meryl Streep as the voice of Aslan, a character who is supposed to represent Jesus Christ is troubling. The director Greta Gerwig, is known for her pro-LGBTQ stances and Aslan being voiced by a woman “with a deep voice” is troubling 

Netflix needs to stop production of this now!
