The Superintendant is allowing a 3 month extension to the 9 month deadline for any DS filed from July 17, 2019 to July 20, 2020. This gives a full 12 months for sales activity before financing & BP details must be provided, but still allows the buyer to cancel after 12 months if they don't get the amendment (this is the same as previous). Developers must file an amendment outlining the extension in order to use it. The Superintendent also says they will continue to monitor and may grant further extensions if needed.
