A company, Peel L and P, plan to build an incinerator to burn tons of plastic daily at Rothesay Dock, Clydebank. This is  being proposed with no  public consultation with the local community and is totally untried technology anywhere in the U.K. The people of Clydebank are being used as guinea pigs - burning plastic is one of the most dangerous things you could do due to the poisonous gasses and dioxins it gives off. Because this proposed  site is right on Clydeside the potential is there to start to import more and more plastic from other countries bringing it in by sea  and turning Clydebank into a plastic dumping ground. This has to be stopped.
