Stop Paulette Dean and the DAHS

Stop Paulette Dean and the DAHS
The Issue
Danville Area Humane Society (DAHS), led by Paulette Dean, has been under fire for numerous allegations of misconduct that threaten the welfare of the animals in their care. It is time for immediate action to ensure accountability and uphold the integrity of animal protection services.
Allegedly Numerous reports from, volunteers, and concerned citizens have surfaced, detailing cases of neglect, and mismanagement within the organization. Witnesses have stated that animals are not being properly scanned for microchips or held the proper amount of time before being euthanized. Such conditions are unacceptable and detrimental to the animals' well-being. Including the owners of dogs who were simply to late or not notified or lied to that their animal was with DAHS
Allegedly Witnesses have reported the DAHS Disposes of animals in trash bags and throws them in dumpsters behind the DAHS. With Reports of animal legs sticking out of trash bags.
the DAHS has one of the highest euthanasia rates.
Furthermore, these issues point to a systemic problem in how the DAHS is managed. The leadership under Paulette Dean has failed to address these concerns or implement effective solutions to improve the situation. Lack of transparency and communication with the community only exacerbate the problem, eroding trust in DAHS's ability to fulfill its mission.
We call upon local authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into DAHS and take necessary measures to protect these vulnerable animals. This might involve appointing a temporary independent board or restructuring the organization to ensure better management practices.
Your support is crucial to bring about positive change. We need to hold responsible parties accountable and demand higher standards in animal welfare. Please join us in urging action against Paulette Dean and DAHS by signing this petition. Together, we can make a difference for countless animals in need.
