I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has signed our petition so far - we've had an impressive 779 online signatures in the first week alone!

Our best advice would be to email each of these committee members around one week before the vote and explain why you do not think DPE powers should be transferred to the council and that you don't want parking charges implemented anywhere in Castle Douglas, so that your feelings are fresh in their minds at the time of their vote. You can compose your email now and save it on your computer or phone, to send nearer the time.
