This letter, written by a Cafcass officer, was used to justify my son's resistance to seeing me and was given to me with the dismissive comment 'I believe my work here is done.' The officer seemed to be hinting that I should go away and that nobody wants me. When I pointed out that this behavior was a clear sign of parental alienation, and provided evidence in the form of a video compilation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcTpgl6Chqs decide for yourself) from before we were isolated from each other, the officer dismissed my concerns and claimed that my son's resentment was justified. Despite my protests, the officer stated that she had more experience in these matters than I did. Frustrated with this response, I have decided to file an official complaint with Cafcass.
