Dear Neighbors,

I hope you’ve had a good summer. This recent NY Times article describes how overdevelopment completely depleted the aquifer in Queens, and how it is now compromising the aquifer in Nassau County as far East as Oyster Bay. Unchecked development will do the same here. We need the town board to meet with citizens, review our Comprehensive Plan, and develop a sustainable development policy.
