Gibson County EMS Director, Dan Fowlkes, has decided to outsource the ambulance billing for Gibson County EMS.  

What does this mean?? This means that a job in Gibson County will be eliminated. For years, EMS has always had in house billing. There are currently 3 office workers that do the billing. ONE of them received notice today that her job will be eliminated as of July 1st. What does this mean? This means there will be 2 office workers with no work but still able to keep their jobs. The only ONE that received notification of a job elimination has multiple health problems, including diabetes, that she will no longer be able to get her medication for beginning July 1st. 

Gibson County prides themselves in keeping jobs in Gibson County so WHY would he want to outsource the billing to an outside agency OUT OF STATE?? 

Please sign this petition in order to help talk the county commissioners to vote NO to outsourced billing and keep this job IN Gibson County.
