The research vessels that are exploring the depths off the Atlantic Ocean are what is causing whales to wash up dead on shores in the area.  The sub-sonic waves they are pounding on the ocean floors are causing the whales to not be able to navigate, causing them deafness, and many other negative impacts on their population.  A moratorium on this disastrous process must be put in place to prevent further destruction of these precious animals.  Now there are dolphins that are washing up as well.  We must STOP the blatant disregard for these vital species.  

Windmills on the ocean would also cause death to sea birds of every kind.  The disastrous effects of windmills is only beginning to be understood, and the power they generate would not produce enough energy to warrant the destruction they would cause.
