Starting September 30th, 2017, San Ramon Valley residents could be paying an exorbitant $8+ toll to drive in the fast lane on I-680 or suffer from a dramatic 25% reduction in freeway capacity.  The I-680 SRV Express Lanes will charge drivers a toll all day long, regardless of traffic conditions, and remove one available freeway lane for non-paying drivers during off-peak hours.

It’s a terrible dilemma that will extend rush hour, slow down freeway drivers, and needlessly clog local roads with traffic (especially on Danville Boulevard).  And it'll make driving around town a particular headache during midday, shoulder, and off-peak hours.

The solution is simple.  Sign this petition to tell our elected representatives to 1) turn off the I-680 Express Lanes in the SRV during midday, shoulder, and off-peak hours and 2) immediately implement other congestion management solutions along side Express Lanes to truly solve the traffic problems in the SRV area.
