•      Congress is trying to put into effect capping agency nurse's pay. Just 2 years ago Joe Biden, on video, was saying that nurses do not get paid enough. Now that the demand for nursing has gone up, the pay has followed. Demand is what sets pay standards. Not degrees. This is why someone with a high school diploma can play sports and make 50 million or more per year or someone with a doctorate degree in arts may not find a job as easily as someone with an associates in a different field. If they follow through with this cap on nurses pay, then no other profession will be safe from their pay being capped as well.

     You do not need to be a nurse in order to sign this petition. Anyone that supports this can sign. Everyone should sign that does not want their profession or field that they work in to possibly have their pay capped one day as well. Ever since becoming a nurse we have dreamed of possibly making more money one day and having our hard work recognized.

     Nursing is one of the most grueling and hardest jobs if not the most. Nurses have a huge turnover rate, commit suicide due to stress, often quit on their first day of work after graduating nursing school, etc. Please sign this petition and support nurses and not capping anybody's pay.   

     There are many possible solutions to not capping nurse's pay rate. If healthcare facilities would simply pay nurses what they are worth that matches the work that they are doing then not as many people would want to leave their job for traveling jobs.
