Growing up in the North East surrounded by community and wildlife has always meant a lot to me, however due to Northumberland council approving a 133 acre Data centre these things are now potentially threatened.

The data centre was first mentioned in March 2025 to be built in Cambois, a town directly above  Blyth in Northumberland And in December 2025 it was approved for reserved matters for phase one. The data centre is to be built just over a mile from a Primary school.

Wildlife and housing around the Data centre will be immediately affected. They have proposed it will not use water, however the chemicals it will be producing such as Carbon Monoxide will still equally have just as bad as an effect.

Do you want this for our future living in the North East? Fight against the construction of this data centre being built in 2027.
