Stop Niantic/Scopely’s Deceptive Monetization — Protect Pokemon Go Players

The Issue

I’m starting this petition because I’m tired of being ignored and taken advantage of by mobile gaming companies like Scopely and Pokémon GO (Niantic). I’ve spent real money on in-game features that either didn’t work at all or didn’t deliver what was promised. And when I reached out for help? I was either ignored, denied a refund, or sent automated responses that led nowhere.

I paid for content  like event access, raid passes, power-ups, or special bundles  and instead, I got glitchy gameplay, broken features, or server errors. That’s money I can’t get back. And I know I’m not the only one.

Scopely and Pokémon GO make it way too easy to spend money — especially for younger players — but nearly impossible to get a refund or speak to a real person when something goes wrong. Their designs push you to buy quickly but give you no protection when their systems fail. That’s not fair.

This petition is for anyone who’s:

-Paid for something that didn’t work

-Got denied a refund without a real explanation
-Felt scammed or manipulated by the game’s design
-Tried to get help and got nowhere

We deserve better. Companies like this need TO BE STOPPED.

If enough of us speak up, we can get the attention of app platforms (like Apple and Google), the FTC, and maybe even consumer protection lawyers who can do something about this.
