Stop Newport City Council building 140 houses at the bottom of alt-yr-yn viewpoint
The Issue
Newport City Council are planning to build 140 houses at the bottom of Alt-Yr-Yn view point under proposals CS-0059 and CS-0060. This could cause devasting environmental damage as it’s close to the nature reserve, a new access road will need constructing and the aesthetic impact will be huge this will also put strain on local services in the area.
