I was Lexie, I was an Australian Labradoodle. . . . I died aged 3.
I was operated on at 7 weeks old. . . I was sterilised and had parts of me taken away by a vet in Ireland under instructions of a breeder of Australian Labradoodle.

I had GI disease, Addison's disease, food intolerances. I suffered from severe fits that terrified my mom. I miss my mom at the rainbow bridge- I deserved to live. All pups do. If I had lived much longer other things would have probably killed me like Cushing's disease, thyroid dysfunction,. These are well-known problems caused by neutering puppies this young. spay incontinence is another as is growth plate problems, hip dysplasia and cruciate ligaments, bone cancer and arthritis. to name but a few

#STOP OPERATIONS ON PUPS WHO HAVE NOT GROWN - WHO ARE NOT READY - WHO DESERVE A VOICE.

The RSPCA and a number of dog breeders particularly Australian Labradoodle breeders are neutering dogs at six weeks of age. I have written to numerous charities and dog establishments including Battersea Dogs Home, Blue Cross and The Kennel Club. All have stated that this practice is unnecessary and The Kennel clubs geneticist said:  "In our view neutering puppies at 6 weeks old seems totally irresponsible".

I have also written numerous articles on the effects of spay and castration and recently in-depth research has shown that neutering causes, rather than cures aggression. Vets have come out and stated that this practice negatively affects dogs future health and well-being.

Please sign my petition so we can get this disgraceful practice stopped.
