We oppose the 5G cell tower rollout in residential areas of Williamson County, Tennessee! 

5G small cells and towers decrease property values.

5G small cells and towers are extremely damaging to health.

EMFs cause cancer, heart disease, diabetes, neurological conditions, and many other health issues. 

Resident's health and quality of life should be priority number one, not making money from the placement of cell phone towers.

On Monday, February 12th the County Commissioners of Williamson County, Tennessee voted to reduce your property values and also put big business in front of your health. They chose to have a 1,500 feet distance for cell towers from private and public schools, but not daycares, churches, parks, or other places where children go. They also chose to amend this to NOT include residential dwellings. This will go back to the planning commission and they will work on what will be done in terms of residential areas. After they make a decision it will be passed on to the county commissioners.

The reality is that they already voted, but if they had a mass of people oppose this, it would put pressure on them to make a change. It's much easier to not build than to remove structures. Most likely the only reason that they are opting for the 1,500 feet distance from schools is from parental pressure because they are not happy about the tower that was placed outside of Trinity Elementary. Something to note about Vogue Towers selling point of cell towers by schools for safety. It's not safe, but it's also unnecessary. Williamson County has its own emergency management radio communication system that is separate from the towers. Central dispatch uses this system to contact EMS personnel. That's why there is an antenna on top of Trinity School.

 If lots of people in Williamson County oppose having small cells and towers near residences, they will have to respond. There are many places that have stopped the placement of 5G small cells and towers and also have had them taken down. When the people making decisions yield to the trillion dollar telecommunications industry and put their money making goals in front of citizens health that is very bad. Every person is important in our community. Your voice matters! We need to protect our property and stand up for our health and quality of life. “Adverse Health Effects of 5G Mobile Networking Technology Under Real  Life Conditions” published in Toxicology Letters identifies the wide-spectrum of adverse health effects of non-ionizing non-visible radiation and concludes that 5 G mobile networking technology will affect not only the skin and eyes, but will have adverse systemic effects as well. They state that 5G will increase the cell tower densities by an order of magnitude.
