Stop Monkeys in Captivity Globally

Stop Monkeys in Captivity Globally
The Issue
As sentient beings, monkeys possess complex social and cognitive abilities, and they deserve to live their lives in their natural habitats and with their families.
Monkeys in captivity are often subjected to conditions that are far from natural. They may be confined to small spaces, deprived of social interaction and stimulation, and subjected to cruel and inhumane treatment. These conditions can lead to a range of physical and psychological health problems, which can greatly diminish their quality of life.
Furthermore, the use of monkeys in research and entertainment industries is often based on flawed assumptions about their cognitive abilities and social behavior. This can lead to unnecessary suffering and abuse, and the results of such research may not be applicable to human beings.
We therefore urge you to take action to end the captivity of monkeys in all its forms. We call on you to support efforts to protect and conserve the natural habitats of these animals, as well as to promote alternative methods of research and entertainment that do not rely on their captivity.
