Stop Money-Making Apps from Scamming Users

Stop Money-Making Apps from Scamming Users
The Issue
I, like many others, faithfully play game apps that promise payouts as a reward for engagement and the completion of certain tasks. We spend our time and effort, expecting a fair return. Unfortunately, I have recently been a victim of a scam by one such app called Richie Games that abruptly ceased to fulfil its promise of payouts. This is not an isolated incident but a widespread issue, victimizing countless users who trust these apps with their time and their hopes for a small financial return. I have never had any problems getting a payout from them until recently. I was a Premium User that paid $7.99 a month and since they raised that monthly fee to $19.99, I decided to unsubscribe.
When I was a Premium member, there was times that I got a email from them saying I was purchasing game products too fast and it flagged my account thinking I was trying to Manipulate the Richie games coin system, yet the Richie games staff found no fault. Now, that I'm no longer a premium member, I cashed out on Feb 14th for $100(by the way they are supposed to pay within 2 days according to their policy) and I just got a email on Feb 27th stating that I purchased products in a game to quickly that I was manipulating the system in collecting points too fast. Yes, I did purchase five $.99 cent 100 coin packages within five minutes but I only did that because I was stuck on a word game level that I couldn't get pass and the game app charges 114 points per letter to help you guess. So the coins don't last long. Then I purchased a $3.99 coin package for 1900 coins so I would have enough to pass other future levels.
I did not manipulate the Richie games app in collecting coins too fast, I have put countless hours and money into their app! There is reviews on their app just recently from other users that it's been 2 weeks and they still have not been paid. Just know that I was paid in the past from this app with no problems while I was a premium member. I have PayPal evidence I was paid and I can show all playstore app purchases I made in games that I have downloaded through Richie Games app.
Statistics suggest that in 2020 alone, around 2.7 billion people downloaded free apps, with many of them including money-making games (Source: Statista). Conservatively, even if a small fraction of these users are scammed, it is a significant number of people affected.
It is time to end this unethical practice. Apps must be held accountable to their users. Transparency must be mandated for these money-making apps in their payout practices, and penalties should be enforced for those who scam users out of their money. Help us send a strong message to rogue app developers and safeguard the rights of app users across the globe.
Please, stand with me and countless others who have been victims of such scams. Let's collectively raise our voice against this injustice. Sign the petition.
