Subject: Urgent Action Needed Against Viral Kitten Torture Content Created For Likes and Money

We, the undersigned animal lovers and concerned citizens, are writing to bring to your attention a deeply disturbing and growing trend on social media - the deliberate torture of kittens for viral reels.

What is happening:

Innocent kittens are being used as props to earn millions of likes, comments, and money. Because they cannot speak or complain, their suffering is being ignored.

We have witnessed:
1. Kittens being thrown on streets and then "rescued" on camera - a staged act just for views.
2. Kittens being tied with a tight leash around their tiny necks and held high in the air, so their front paws cannot touch the ground. They are left hanging, gasping and struggling, just to make a "cute" video.
3. Kittens being frightened, hurt, and put in dangerous situations only to film their reaction.

This is not content. This is cruelty.

Why this must stop:

1. It is a clear violation of The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
2. These creators are earning money through monetization while inflicting pain on voiceless animals.
3. It normalizes animal cruelty for millions of young viewers.

We demand:

1. Animal Welfare Board of India & PETA India & Blue Cross: Please take suo moto cognizance of such accounts and initiate legal action. Create a dedicated cell to monitor and report animal cruelty reels.

2. Social Media Platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube): Demonetize, ban, and remove all accounts that use animal torture for content. Add "Animal Cruelty for Views" as a strict reportable category with immediate action.

3. Government of India: Issue guidelines that no animal cruelty content can be monetized in India.

A kitten cannot file a complaint. We must be their voice.

If you have also seen such reels and felt helpless, please sign and share this petition. Let's make them unviral. Let's stop the income that comes from their pain.

Stop scrolling. Start acting.
