This petition is deeply personal to me, as I believe no animal should be used as a breeding machine, especially when health issues are involved. It's not only wrong for the puppy but also for the person who ends up with that puppy. Mindy Sweetser (Osgood) and her wife who run High Horse Stables & AlphaK9 Kennel have been operating as backyard breeders in Greenwood, Maine. They have sold multiple sick dogs to unsuspecting buyers under the false pretense of them being healthy.

A recent victim got a puppy from them intending it to be a service dog, only to discover that the pup had a heart murmur. Despite numerous complaints lodged against them with Maine Animal Welfare, little action has been taken so far.

Mindy claims her animals are healthy and vet-checked; however, evidence suggests otherwise. It's not just dogs either - they breed many breeds of cats and farm animals too. Their operation prioritizes profit over animal welfare or improving the breed.

This unethical practice needs to stop now. No more animals should suffer in their care or end up in homes where they cannot provide what was promised because of undisclosed health issues.

We call upon local authorities in Greenwood, Maine to investigate these allegations thoroughly and take appropriate action against Mindy Sweetser (Osgood). We urge you all who care about animal welfare to sign this petition and help put an end to this cruel practice.
