Urgent action required. Consent is currently pending for McDonalds to build a 24/7 Fast Food outlet on the old St James Church site next to the Z Service Station at 152 Kepa Road.

Orakei and Eastern Bay residents should be very concerned about the huge increase in traffic along the already strained Kepa Road that this development would create, not to mention the heightened risk to children walking to and from school.

Under zoning rules, the building consent does not necessarily require public notification. However, we believe there are substantial grounds to challenge this and we need your help to request this proposal be publicly notified. This will allow the local community to have our say.
