Stop Mass Deportation.

Stop Mass Deportation.
The Issue
Deportation is the forced removal of a group of people or a person from one nation to a different geological area. One hard-hitting story revolving around deportation is about a Mexican-American family, the husband and father of this family was working to support his family. This man was deported to Mexico due to his 'crime' of working in the United States without permission. During this time his wife was pregnant, this man was the only income in this family and because the government decided that him doing a job in the U.S. ,that most U.S. citizens would refuse to do, was illegal. His wife and unborn child were forced to fend for themselves. Because of the harsh laws about immigration and deportation in the U.S., their lawyer's only advice was for the wife, who is an American citizen, to call her Congressional representatives to ask for any help they could provide.
Pro-mass deportation politicians like to make the excuse that all the people they are deporting are criminals or they are somehow negatively affecting the U.S. But the truth is in 2007 over 300,000 people were deported out of the U.S. and less than 100,000 were considered criminals, in 2022 undocumanted imagrates payed around 59.4 billon in just federal taxes . if this is from years ago and President Trump has decided to start "the largest deportation operation in history." How many innocent immigrants will be ripped away from their families, their friends, and the jobs they take to survive this year?
Deportation affects everyone in the U.S. whether you choose to believe it or not. This is a big issue in today's world, and it needs to be recognized.
