To all embassies and consulates in The Netherlands representing countries which are part of NATO.

Thank you for allowing me to send you this letter.

My name is Wouter Timmers (60) and I live in Amsterdam.

Occasionally I show that I am an Active Voter and draw attention to important issues.

For example, in 2003 in the media I challenged Wouter Bos, PvdA party leader and later Minister of Finance, to explain his support for America's terrible actions in Iraq. In a shady way he had converted Democratic votes agáinst the war in Iraq, into votes fór the war in Iraq. As an Active Voter I confronted him about his controversial support for the unlawful war and occupation.

Me and the overwhelming majority of people on earth, are deeply concerned about what is happening in Gaza right now, especially with the Children! Those who suffer most from such absurd conflicts are always innocent Children.

As if things aren't bad enough, the highly controversial Mark Rutte, Netanyahu's 'errand boy', is threatening to take control of NATO. Many have already warned about his questionable role in the Gaza issue, as it is clear that he will still side with his friend Netanyahu. Mark Rutte also maintains close ties with Netanyahu's Likud party through his VVD party colleague Mr. Brekelmans. When I drew attention to this, information about a meeting was immediately removed from the official(!) information page of the Dutch House of Representatives. Questions about this to House of Representatives chairman Martin Bosma (PVV) remained unanswered.

It is also good to ask the question; How well does NATO still function? Is it still a defensive pact between countries with the aim of protecting people or is it becoming more and more a kind of meeting place for the arms trade; the more war, the more dead Children, the higher the profits.

Nothing in the world right now is as lucrative as the slaughter of Children. The economy of the USA, for example, is extremely dependent on the arms trade. When the wars stop, the economy collapses.

The USA therefore benefits from a NATO that facilitates wars.

It is time for a new Secretary General at NATO who takes a broader view and doés care about children's lives. 

So we absolutely do NOT want Mark Rutte as Secretary General of NATO!

In the name of humanity and to protect the Children of this earth;

I hereby ask you and all other NATO members to block Mark Rutte's arrogant, dangerous self-appointed leadership of NATO.
