Stop Mandatory Membean Assignments

Stop Mandatory Membean Assignments
The Issue
In my freshman year at TF South High School, my classmates and I have been diligently working our way through various assignments and coursework. However, something that consistently weighs us down each week is the repetitive Membean work assigned by Miss Boldrey every Monday and Friday. We need a break from Membean's word studies! It's not just about Membean itself, but the fatigue and burnout that comes with the continued monotony it presents.
While Membean may have its educational benefits, the continuous cycle leaves us with little room to leverage our creativity and interests in the language arts. Flexibility in teaching and learning methods not only keeps the students engaged but also aids in their overall development. An occasional break or alteration in the routine would revive our interest and energy, enhancing our learning experience.
TF South encourages an enriching academic environment where students are stimulated through variety and innovation. We believe it's vital to balance structured learning tools like Membean with other diverse methods to cultivate a truly fulfilling educational journey.
We kindly urge Miss Boldrey and the school administration to consider altering the frequency of these assignments to prevent burnout and maintain student enthusiasm for learning. Implementing alternative word study methods periodically could offer the refreshing change needed.
Sign this petition to support a change for a more balanced and engaging learning approach that caters to the students' well-being and educational success.
