In my personal experience, teachers at my school keep looking at our skirts and telling us to roll them down because it's "not professional" or boys would be distracted. They even give detentions for this. It's uncomfortable and unfair for male teachers to scrutinize our clothing choices.

Girls should have the freedom to wear skirts of any length they feel comfortable in without being subjected to judgment or punishment. This practice not only invades our privacy but also perpetuates outdated gender norms that place the burden of boys' behavior on girls.

Sign this petition to urge Lewisham schools to stop male teachers from policing girls' skirt lengths and allow students the freedom to dress comfortably without fear of reprimand.
