There are many journalists that are in the Amazon / other leafy place like that trying to journal happily. Picture you are a wildlife journalist in the Amazon. You have all your gear and are ready to get the scoop. Then you hear a sound. You look around and see nothing but wildlife. You convince yourself it was your imagination and move on. Across the course of that hour, you hear those same noises, getting louder and louder each time.  You move towards the noise, camera ready and see bull dozers / vehicles like that cutting down trees!

You move closer and see the Faber-Castell logo on the vehicles. As a wildlife journalist, you write down all of this, have a brief funeral for the trees that are getting cut and the grass getting stomped on and get outta there. Now snap out of it. That didn't actually happen (hopefully) but pencil factories are hurting the environment, people. Trees and grass and plants are alive. They need you to sign this petition. That is why I, Savvanah,started this petition. Pencil factory workers are getting hurt too!
