We need your presence to WITNESS! Keep them honest.
On February 3 at 6:00 PM, the Hanover County Historic Commission will meet at the Hanover County Complex, Administration Building, 2nd Floor. This meeting directly affects the future of our rural community and the protection of historic cemeteries and cultural sites that could be threatened by the proposed quarry.
This is not just another meeting.
This is a moment where public witness matters.
The Historic Commission exists to protect the history of Hanover — the landscapes, burial grounds, and heritage that cannot be replaced once destroyed. A private company’s (Luck Stone) project should never outweigh the preservation of our shared past.
If you care about:
• Protecting rural Hanover
• Preserving historic cemeteries
• Respecting the families and history buried in this land
• Leaving a legacy for future generations
please attend.
silent presence in the room sends a message:
our community is watching, and our history matters.
We cannot protect what we do not show up for.
Bring a neighbor. Bring a friend. Stand with us to defend the heritage of Hanover County.
