We the residence of Dianella neighbourhood around the Islamic college of WA, are asking for this noise to be kept quiet and private, within the school buildings. 

The noise is generated each morning via amplified public loudspeaker. Probably several of them. The noise can be noticed loud during morning around 9 or 10 am.

This is not about or targeting Islam or Muslims. We live a a very diversed society, we all respect all religions and all backgrounds, however religiones content noise generated from loud public speakers, spread across the entire public sourdinng everyday is a public nuisance and disturbance. As not all of Dianella residence are adhered to the Islamic faith. We would like to listen to a daly residential noice instead, such traffic lawn mowers, kids playing and dogs barking, Muslim religious text generated from loudspeaker is not our choice of preference and we ask for this to be kept private.

Imagine you are an ordinary guy. You live in a ordinary neibrouhood and a house. You raise your family on a pretty basic "live and let live" humanistic values. Nothing to unique or special to any average Australian citizen. 

Yet steady but surely a loudspeaker religuis text and praying are been broadcast each morning,  across the entire public sourding, from a local school. I cannot understand the message, as it is not conveyed in English.

It is not my choise of preference to listen to a Muslim religious text every morning. However, I respect all Muslims and everyone else equaly. 

I rather listen a lovely normal suburbian noise, such as dogs barking, traffic passing by, lawn mowers and kids playing. 

Please try to imagine how would you feel about it.  I hope that you understand where I am coming from.

Personally, I am not a religious person. Religion doesn't play a large role in my life. I rather attend art and woodturning clubs instead, to be honest. However I respect all views, religuis afliations and denominations equaly. Each to their own way of life. No problems what so ever. 

What's going on here in Dianella is not right in my view. 

To my best understanding of the Commonwealth system, and please correct me if I am worng. Freedom of religion is a constitutional right. However, this should be expressed with respect and in a private manner and not be inflicted on the general public with a loudspeaker broadcast, occuring at a daily basis.
