I have had a few calls about Browns Lane 2.

The site has been with Lichfield District Councils planning department since 2018. You can view it here - www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/planning using application number 18/00840/OUTMEI.

The council has not yet made a decision on it and it is one that the Spital ward councillors objected to (as we did for Browns Lane 1 and Arkall Farm).

Recently a highways response was given to Lichfield planners, but this is the only activity since March 2020!

The site sits outside the exiting site allocations in Lichfield District Councils local plan, and the Lichfield Planning team has had considerable turnover in recent years. I am sure all of this has contributed to the long delay, as well as the developer wanting to argue their case.

So, as it stands, we are still waiting for the application to come to the Lichfield Planning Committee. What this does mean is that you can still object!
