You may have noticed that the Arkall Farm site has gone up for sale.

After making enquiries with the agent, the site is currently at the "final stages" of tendering. If it is sold, it will take place soon.

On a separate note, in the course of my research, I have found this little gem about the site from 100 years ago. A Tamworth Co-Operative Society quarterly report showing them buying Arkall Farm in 1919.

I don't know if they sold the land to Barwoods, were involved with the developer to build the houses, or sold the land long ago, but it’s a fascinating piece of local history. You can see the report here - Co-op Report 1919.
