When I first found out about lemurs in Madagascar I was so cross and disappointed in the human race.  

Lemurs are known as our cousins, how would they like it if they were the lemurs the ones being killed, sold, and used like lab rats?  I had had enough; I had to something about it so I wrote this report. 

I hope it makes you think about it and show some empathy for these poor helpless creatures. The human race has done some bad thing but this is just not right. 

Please do all you can, it will only take you two minutes of your day I hope you understand how important this is. I’m even selling some of my own old clothes that I don’t like or don’t fit me.  This isn’t only going to help the lemurs, by donating this money to a lemur charity who can really look after them it is also helping the planet by recycling what we don’t need or want, this could make the world of difference.

This is an issue very close to my heart and will mean a lot to me if lemurs could live without fear of being hunted of taken from there natural habitat. Think about it, it’s just a click of a couple of buttons and see how much you have helped the lemurs; all of us combined will make a huge difference.  Lemurs are very important to humans and the planet because they are seed dispersers and pollinate flowers.

Some people think just another day just another animal going extinct, but no they’re wrong, animals are so much more,  especially Lemurs they are known as the worlds most endangered mammals and even though ILLEGAL the  people of Madagascar kill lemurs for food ,keep them in poor conditions to eat when food is scarce and sell them to pet trade.

Over 28,000 lemurs die a year. Deforestation also plays a big role of killing the lemurs if you chop a tree down plant it back, please, its not that hard, is this what you want for our majestic planet earth?

We need to stop this once and for all, we need to make our voices heard ,if you sign this online petition, please tell your friends family, anyone, the more people that sign the more it  will help me to help the lemurs  If you can’t access the  web please ask a family, friend or carer to help you. Lemurs (especially ring-tailed ones) are going extinct by the minute please do sign, it will be your way of helping the planet to show how much we care.  I thank you all.  I care and I hope you do to.
