Hello everyone,

I am in the process of arranging a meeting with local councillors, and I don’t want to walk into that room carrying only my story when I know so many of you have faced the same barriers.

If you’ve lived through the waiting, the confusion, the “there’s nowhere to refer you to,” “the services don’t exist,” or “West Sussex isn’t commissioned for that” conversations, I would be truly grateful to hear your story — if you trust me to carry it into that room on your behalf.

If you’d like to share your experience publicly, you can add it directly to the petition by scrolling to the ‘Reasons for signing’ section and tapping ‘Add your reason’.

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing publicly, please feel free to send your story to me privately - https://www.facebook.com/share/1BTcQSDGbk/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Anything shared privately will remain completely confidential.

Thank you for standing with us. We’ve now reached over 350 signatures in just a matter of days, and every single one is a voice saying our children deserve more — deserve the same support that neighbouring counties already have.

As I prepare for this meeting, can I ask one more thing? If you feel able, please consider sending this petition to one fellow West Sussex parent who might relate.

Our collective voice is helping ensure that one day, our children have a voice too. Thank you for your support — it means the world.

Jo
