We are a country of cat lovers. Circumstances change and people move. The casualties are their beloved pets. 
Facebook is flooded with devastated people having to rehome their pets because landlords will not allow pets. 
I understand where there are no fences properties are unsuitable for dogs but to refuse to allow a cat or two is downright cruel 

The most damage I’ve ever witnessed in rental properties was at the hands of humans. 
To deprive renters the joy and sometimes only Company of their loved and previous cats is cruel and bordering on a travesty of human rights. 

in desperation people often move out leaving their distressed cat to fend for itself or take the drastic step to euthanise.
