Enough is enough!

Is it not enough that the government have voted to make the Winter Fuel Allowance means tested?

Is it not enough energy prices are rising again shortly?

Is it not enough that the Christmas Bonus hasn’t risen from £10 for 52 YEARS?

NOW THEY WANT TO TAKE THE 25% SINGLE PERSON COUNCIL TAX REDUCTION!!

Pensioners, disabled & the vulnerable CANNOT afford any more roads to poverty .. we’re just about there, if not already.

We still have to pay for TV Licence, insurances to protect our homes & to keep our precious belongings safe, never mind a myriad of other demands on our finances. 

For the people who do work, they don’t have anyone to share the bills with.  Losing this lifeline will cause more to struggle to pay for housing, heating and food costs as a single person, especially if they are just at the cut-off for assistance. 

The one thing that gives a lot of folk freedom is the free bus pass for pensioners & disabled .. I’m hearing today they are looking at taking that away too! Loneliness & isolation is enough of a problem as it is .. we certainly can’t afford to run a car! 

WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!! 

We CANNOT allow them to take what we NEED!!
