For background animal testing is when people hurt,torture,blow up (etc) animals for research .This act  started in 500 B.C to see if medicine or certain things  would harm humans.

Stopping animal testing is important because animals have been and will continue to be drugged,chemical expose,long periods of physical restraint,dismembered,deprived of water and food,burned,neck-breaking,etc, unless we stop them now.They die for something that can be avoided and can be tested on something non -living or in another form. This effect can also harm the life span of these animals and can lead to near extinction of some.

Companies like L'Oreal for example will try to state that they don't test on animals but paying a 3rd party to do the testing is no better than doing it yourself and, because they sell some of their products to China, China has a mandatory animal testing rule for foreign cosmetics. its not hard to search into the person you are selling to therefore L'Oreal had to have known they are encouraging these tests.

We are asking to ban testing on animals permanently because it can lead to physical and psychological distress with animals or near extinction. Testing can also completely alternate their appearance to the point of unrecognizable state. We want them to enforce the Animal warfare Act even in the event of a third party.
