The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Director Kelly Susewind approved permits to kill two wolves who assumedly killed cattle.

Ranchers say wolves are preying on their cattle, and they reserve the right to kill them. There are over a million head of cattle and only an estimated 178 wolves in Washington. Profit should never take precedence over protecting our wildlife and the delicate balance of our natural ecosystem. The cattle ranchers are to blame for having ranches in wolf territory. There is no justification for killing a predatory animal that naturally preys on animals such as cattle, especially not when cattle are placed in their domain.

Tell Governor Inslee to stop the killing of wolves to appease cattle ranchers.
