Anthony Eugene Johnson is a man who has been wrongfully incarcerated for over 13 years. The court took out Self Defense on his case and gave him a manslaughter charge instead. He was convicted of Murder/Manslaughter & aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a Self Defense case, in which he was sentenced to 60 years. 

Johnson’s conviction was based on his music, fabricated stories and not actual facts. The head of the gang intelligence in Dallas, BK Nelson, created a fraudulent gang file and forged Johnson's signature on it. Later Nelson got caught putting fake gang documents in other cases and was arrested by ATF for impersonating a ATF agent. The prosecutor threw out the surveillance video of the actual crime scene and created their own story, as well as using a witness that was never at the scene. Despite this fact, the prosecutor in Johnson’s case still insists that Johnson is guilty despite having no evidence to support his claim. The attacker that was killed, was also a relative of the probation court that was present in the courtroom. In court, the prosecutor made the attackers the victims and made Johnson the defendant along with a bogus police report. They convicted Johnson because they knew they could make money by having you incarcerated. A man by the name of Mathew Reed was found trading stocks and bonds of Johnson's estate by using his identity and a forged social security number and DOB to make a monetization of his captivity. Since being incarcerated, Johnson human rights have been violated many times. He has been poisoned with rat poison with all organs shutting down on him and left to die in a holding cell after being told he had two days to live. He has almost lost his hand due to protecting a female officer from getting hurt in a fight. 

In addition, there were several inconsistencies in the State's theory of the case which were fabricated or never addressed at trial and during his incarceration. It has been proven that courtroom decisions has shown that personal backgrounds, unconscious biases about race, gender and appearance, and even the time of day play a more important role in outcomes than the actual law. Please help us shine light on this corrupted judicial system and push to have Anthony Eugene Johnson released immediately.
