In January 2023 five jetskis arrived on Cayo Largo del Sur, Cuba.  This remote beautiful and tranquil cayo has been enjoyed for decades for its beautiful and peaceful beaches by both humans and wildlife.  With the arrival of these machines this is all about to change.

Cayo Largo is within a marine nature preserve and the cayo is home to the Centro de Rescate de Tortugas Marinas (Sea Turtle Rescue Center) which has been doing incredible work to preserve the Green Turtle, Hawksbill Turtle and the Loggerhead Turtle. All are endangered or critically endangered species. 

Please sign this petition if you agree that the rental of jetskis is not compatible with the (rare these days) peace and tranquility that many have come to appreciate on Cayo Largo, nor is it compatible with the nature preserve that protects all marine life, sea birds, and in particular the sea turtles.
