Stop Iran’s Deadly Raids: Justice for Khan Bibi Bameri & All Unknown Freedom-Fighters

The Issue

We, the undersigned, demand immediate global action to stop the Islamic Republic of Iran’s violent and discriminatory military raids targeting civilians—especially women, ethnic minorities, and political dissenters—under the false claim of spying for Israel.

 Why This Matters

On July 1, 2025, Iranian security forces brutally raided Gonich village in Khash District, Sistan‑and‑Baluchistan. During the assault, 40‑year‑old Khan Bibi Bameri was shot and killed.

The attack also injured 11 other women, including pregnant Reyhaneh Bameri, who dashed in horror as her fetus was lost due to severe trauma.

Meanwhile, the regime claims to be rooting out “Israeli spies,” yet these raids disproportionately affect ethnic Kurdish and Baluch communities, Iranian Jews, Bahais, and activists, while targeting both men and women under vague charges.

The Wider Crackdown

  • Since the June 2025 ceasefire, hundreds of civilians—many from minority groups—have been arrested on espionage allegations.
  • At least six individuals have been executed, predominantly Kurdish men, and numerous sham trials are underway to justify harsh sentences.
  • Internet shutdowns and propaganda campaigns aim to portray national unity, but voices from inside Iran say otherwise:
  • The majority of Iranians are too afraid to demonstrate publicly.
  • Many have retreated underground—engaging in covert resistance rather than risking arrest, torture, or death.
  • One Tehran activist said: “We are being extremely cautious… the regime might use this situation as a pretext.”
  • Another woman lamented: “We fear the Islamic Republic just as much as we fear Israel.”

We Demand:

  • An immediate halt to all military-style raids on civilians.
  • The release of all political detainees, especially those held under dubious espionage charges.
  • An end to propaganda that falsely portrays unity—the world must not ignore the truth of fear, repression, and ethnic targeting.
  • Sustained international pressure and sanctions on individuals responsible for planning, authorizing, or executing these violent operations.

✊ Join Us as we call on:

The United Nations, International Criminal Court, and international human rights organizations, foreign governments and parliamentary bodies, and concerned citizens everywhere to:

Act decisively—protecting the rights and lives of Iranian civilians, defending ethnic and gender minority protections, and bringing to justice those who unleash violence under false pretenses.

Stand with Iran’s women and minorities. Demand accountability.
