As investigations on the late Susan Kamengere's death are going on..today I emailed the CEO of KMPDC regarding the laxity in investigating my official complaint which I delivered to their offices in 2023.
The email communique i s copied below. We await a response from KMPDC.

Re: Official Complaint - Violation of Patients' Rights, Brutal Abduction & Forced Admission at Mediva Wellness Centre

I hereby make reference to the link copied below in which KMPDC published an article in the Standard Newspaper on 30th April 2024, purporting how they handles cases of malpractice & negligence in the health sector in Kenya.
Dr.David Kariuki, within a day of the article appearing, I emailed you office in response & enquired why my official complaint which I personally delivered in hard copy to the KMPDC offices & I narrated my harrowing ordeal to a lady called Eunice in 2023 was never addressed.
The links copied below clear elucidate the brutal abduction, forced injection & admission at a mental health institution/rehab namely Mediva Wellness Centre domiciled in Thika. My experience has a striking similarity to the late Susan Kamenjere's only that I lived to tell the tale as the E-book attached on this communique describes.

All I got was an email promising to do something about my complaint as a mere formality & the trail went cold..
Until this month when the late Ms.Susan Kamengere yet another victim of a brutal abduction & forced admission at Chiromo Hospital was murdered therein...leading to a public outcry forcing KMPDC to take firm action
Dr. Kariuki, you took office on October 17th 2022 as the CEO of KMPDC...Replacing Dr.Daniel Yumbya who was at the helm of KMPDC for several years. In the health industry circles, you are recognised as a seasoned health professional with over 26 years’ experience in the technical aspects of the medical profession and also in human resource and financial resources management. You provided leadership in improvement of health care service delivery, development of health services management systems, advancement of patient advocacy initiatives and provision of strategic project management expertise.
So, when Kenyans like myself look at the KMPDC social media pages & read the articles like the one above...we assume our health is in safe hands...our Patients' Rights will be protected by a professional par excellence like yourself.
Mr.Kariuki, today I will not belabour the point. I just want very STRAIGHT ANSWERS....to my ernest questions.
Why didn't you order a probe like you have recently done after I delivered my complaint & your office sent me an email which I shared with very many Kenyans some of whom are copied on this email communique today?
Did I also have to die so the KMPDC does something...?
Why is it that NOBODY CARES UNTIL ONE IS DEAD...?

I am committed to speaking up about my sordid experience until the day the Living God my Creator will call me Home & I join my ancestors like my late father Mr.Harry Kamau who preceded me 4 years ago. He would have defended me as he was a very protective father.
He would not have tolerated 3 goons...male strangers manhandling & groping my body so indecently..dragging me out like an animal & dehumanising me in a rehab all in the name of mental wellness just for the sadistic pleasure of my controlling abusive narcissistic mother!
Much as I regret being born in the first place..because of the narcissistic abuse & trauma I have endured for many years from my mother & some family members...there must be a peculiar reason God my Creator has not honoured my ernest request/prayer to die sooner & enter Eternal Rest. Only God know the purpose He created me for & reserve the rights to decide when to call me home.
So you can be sure that my story will be translated to each of the 42 tribes of Kenya...& reach the ends of the world like the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ before the end of my life!
For the sole reason that God our Creator loves humanity, hates injustice..destruction. enslavement & wasting of human potential!
Mr.David Kariuki, if you had taken decisive action like you have done with regards to the late Susan Kamengere's death back in 2023 & 2024..when I made a visit to KMPDC offices in person..today perhaps Susan Kamengere would be alive!
Kenyans would be vigilant & enlightened about their Patients' Rights...rehab owners & psychiatrists would be forewarned about such medical malpractices.
Very many Kenyans are copied on this email...they have been keenly following & engaging in this mental health dialogues. So whether or not I receive an official response from your office ..it is on record that I communicated yet again regarding this matter.
Mr.Kariuki, my life has never & will never be the same again after the trauma I experienced being abducted & forcibly injected & admitted at Mediva Wellness Centre.
I cannot stand living with my family members especially my mother because she never stops bullying, manipulating & verbally abusing me heartlessly in private behind closed doors just like the husband of Susan Kamengere was being very cruel to her before her death as the cellphone texts she shared with her friends copied herein depict.
I feel like I have been crying for justice like Susan Kamengere did hours before her death..only for almost 3 years...& nobody who should do something is doing anything...like I must be in the death register for my life to matter like Susan Kamengere who is now dead!
Please Note: that I will deliver another hard copy of this 2nd official complaint to your office again this week & I will share it very widely with Kenyans yet again for Transparency, Accountability & Future Reference for All the 50 million Kenyan & Unborn generations whose rights must be protected at all costs.
I look forward to hearing from you & hope that this time around your office will take this matter with the seriousness it deserves & take action with expediency. I would like to meet with the Team at KMPDC that addresses official complaints from the public regarding medical malpractice.

We have been asserting that it is about time we had a Serious National Dialoguon Patients' Rights & a Public Inquest into the abhorrent human rights abuses going on in some rehabs in our country!
The Secretariat that is organising the 2nd National Mental Health Conference to be held in October 2025, deliberately ignored my email communiques in which I asked to know why there was no accomodation of Lived Experience of Mental Health Patient's & Mental Health Patients Rights as a subject area in the agenda of the 2 day event?
- How can such a National Mental Health Conference be dominated just by the Government, Psychiatrists, Counseling Psychologists, Pharmaceuticals,Hospitals, Rehab Centres & leave out Patients’ who are the Consumers of Mental Health Services in the institutions?
Whose interests are really being served in this “National Mental Health Conference?
Before the late Susan Kamengere is laid to rest & her case is fully investigated we as Kenyans Must demand to get straight answers to these very pertinent questions! Not empty rhetoric!
Our hard earned tax payers money cannot be used year in year out to fund & advertise national mental health conferences where the issue of Violation of Patients Rights do not take centre stage!
This Battle for the Human Soul....belongs to none other than the Lord God our Creator..whose Throne is founded on Righteousness & Justice. (Psalm 89:14)
