The developer has filed papers with the siting council. You can see them here.
We need everyone to act now. Please email or call the town selectmen and ask for three things.
1.) Request that they issue orders to regulate and restrict this facility as they are allowed to do by state statute; see section d here.
2.) Request that the town hold a public hearing regarding this facility.
3.) Request that each of the Selectmen write a letter in opposition to this project and send it to the siting council.

The town website is referring people to the siting council website. And while the siting council has final jurisdiction, the town can influence their decision by expressing their opposition and by issuing orders to regulate and restrict.
We do not have a lot of time. The town has 65 days to respond. The siting council timeline is here.
Please also send an email to the siting council and voice your opposition:
Every email, every communication matters. Your help is appreciated!
