Follow up/ Mecanismo de seguimiento GIEI sobre Ayotzinapa

(For English see below) Queridos amigos, Tras el segundo informe del GIEI y la lamentable negativa del gobierno mexicano para extender su estancia, es crucial seguir de cerca y asegurar el mecanismo de seguimiento de las recomendaciones que hizo el GIEI al gobierno mexicano. Los padres y madres de los 43 se reunieron el Jueves 19 de mayo con Claudia Ruiz Massieu, Roberto Campa Cifrián y Miguel Ruíz Cabañas en la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores demandando que este mecanismo: 1. Sea encabezado por el relator James L. Cavallaro. 2. Incluya a dos miembros del GIEI 3. Garantice que las visitas del relator y expertos sean en persona y de manera periódica. 4. El gobierno mexicano dé condiciones y facilidades a este grupo para seguir las varias líneas de investigación que se plantearon en los dos informes del GIEI. El próximo sábado 21 de mayo se reunirán en Washington representantes de los padres, el gobierno mexicano a través de la SRE y la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos para definir las particularidades de este mecanismo de seguimiento. Por favor manifiesta tu apoyo a los padres y madres de los estudiantes desaparecidos, de los estudiantes ejecutados y de los heridos y sobrevivientes ya sea con tu presencia en Washington, firmando esta petición o difundiendo esta información.
